Langtang, Gosainkunda and Helambu routes closed or restricted after the Rasuwa flood
Please note: Section-by-section reopening has not been officially confirmed. Conditions may vary along the trail.
After the flash flood in Rasuwa on 26 August, routes in Langtang, Gosainkunda, Helambu and the Tamang Heritage Trail were reported as closed or restricted. Other major regions, including Annapurna, Everest and Manaslu, are open for the autumn season.
If you have a Langtang trip booked, ask your agency for the latest status and a backup route.
