Beni to Jomsom road: track cleared at Kunauta, full reopening expected soon

The Beni–Jomsom–Korala road was blocked at more than 50 points after late September rains, with about 250 metres washed away at Kunauta. A track has now been cut through Kunauta, and crews said it needed one to two more days of work before vehicles could pass. Pokharebagar was targeted to reopen around 12 October.
