Tatopani and Rasuwagadhi border points remain closed
Please note: No official reopening date has been announced.
As of 7 October, the Tatopani and Rasuwagadhi border points with China were reported as still closed. The Araniko Highway had reopened to limited one-lane traffic on 24 August after a month-long blockage, but the border crossing has not returned to normal.
Traders and travellers planning to cross to Tibet should not rely on these routes for now.
