Malaysia’s repatriation programme for undocumented workers extended to 31 May 2027
PRM 2.0 lets undocumented workers leave Malaysia legally by paying a compound: RM 500 for overstay or illegal entry, RM 300 for pass violations, plus a RM 20 special pass. Raids continue: eight Nepalis were among 472 people detained in Kuala Lumpur in mid-September. Contact the Nepali embassy in Kuala Lumpur for help.
